Making a home is a delicate and continuous process we all engage in throughout our lives. Our desire to feel safe, to belong, to find comfort, and yet to remain free and authentic individuals creates a constant tension or imbalance that, for some of us, translates into perpetual change.

"THE ART AND PHILOSOPHY OF HOME" is a 4 weeks residency program that offers digital nomads, semi-nomads, artists, thinkers, and anyone who asks themselves about the meaning of home to join a co-living mastermind focused on living with purpose.
Throughout the residency, participants will follow the "Five Dimensions of Home" methodology, developed by the facilitator Yoav Goldwein after years of research, storytelling, and philosophical inquiry. Drawing from modern thinkers such as Heidegger, Arendt, Bachelard, Sartre, and Coccia—as well as lesser-known voices offering fresh perspectives—the program invites participants to reflect on their own experiences and what it means to find, or unfind, home in today’s world.
With the help of methods from Process Work and Narrative Therapy and with a special philosophical textbook designed for the residency, we aim to find some of the answers that will help us build better homes for our wa(o)ndering souls.

"The Art (and Philosophy) of Home has called me in because I have been searching for 'home' pretty much my whole life. At times it was a search for the home within, at times a search for the right geography and physical space. Most recently it is a search for how I imagine the interpersonal constellation of a home. The beautifully crafted program has invited us each day to explore the various aspects of home - internal, external, personal, transgenerational, collective, static and dynamic -, and find meaning in our own experiences as we have been weaved the thread of our path together through story, philosophy, vision, and movement."

The Five Dimensions of Home

The experience of home is multi-layered, shaped by a rich spectrum of conscious and unconscious patterns, desires, and emotions. This creative residency program will explore these layers in depth, bringing to the surface the often-overlooked essences of home.
CONFIGURATION - Our connection to the built environment and the physical structures that define modern homes.
AFFINITY - The relationships that shape us—our culture, community, and families—and the balance between societal expectations and personal freedom.
ATTACHMENT - How romantic partners, friends, and close family members influence our sense of home, for better or worse.
INCARNATION - The body as our only true, personal home. How can we align with our physical selves and live authentically?
REMINISCING - Home as a space of memory, nostalgia, and trauma—how our past experiences shape our present sense of belonging.

ABOUT YOAV GOLDWEIN

I am a creator of meaningful experiences. Often described by my loved ones as "too sensitive" or "an overthinker," I have chosen to embrace these as superpowers. With the help of philosophy and art, I carve a path of exploration and reflection to uncover what lies at the core of the contemporary human experience.
As someone who almost carries a genetic imprint of displacement and migration, my work revolves around the shadows of home. I strive to be free in both space and mind, avoiding titles and limiting identities while embracing a wide spectrum of perspectives to cultivate a holistic and balanced worldview.
"Working with Yoav is a pure delight for the mind! He is an inspiring Humanist, weaving together philosophy, art, psychology, urbanism, and literature. During my retreat with him, I have loved his active listening and his delicate challenging, full of kindness and empathy."

Rossella Rosso, founder of Our Haven
