innovation suburbs

Cities are engines for innovation and growth, in the last few decades they develop exponentially, leaving behind rural and suburban areas. This rising inequality has gradually manifested in recent years in social unrest and political radicalization. the work INNOVATION SUBURBS is trying to find a way to draw creative energy from city centers to regions and neighborhoods that are lagging behind. The work has first been introduced as an urban intervention in a suburb of Stockholm and later as an academic white paper for the KTH university in Stockholm.
